Youth group methodology. Developing a sustainability strategy.
In order to ensure the sustainability of the Youth Group methodology developed by Center MARTA, in cooperation with organizations from UK, the following have been implemented:
1) development of a quality monitoring strategy (Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy) for the implementation of the methodology, in cooperation with the organization INTRAC (financed by the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation)
2) development of methodology distribution (scaling) model, in cooperation with SPRING IMPACT organization (financed by Tides Foundation)With the support of the British Embassy in Latvia, a webinar was held covering:
• An introduction to how to scale NGO programmes, including how to assess whether you're ready and how to develop a scale strategy
• A showcase of MARTA's plans to scale the Youth Group Methodology, through municipalities and NGOs across Latvia
• Q&A session
The development and implementation of both strategies in the long term will provide an opportunity to develop, finance and implement the methodology of Youth groups both in Latvia and outside, without losing the most important essence and ensuring its quality and positive impact in the field of violence prevention and gender equality in the youth environment.
Both scaling and MEL strategy development took place from February till December 2022
