The MARTA Centre since 2010 has been actively working in the field of youth, creating, and conducting classes, trainings, and seminars for both young people and youth workers, educators and other specialists throughout Latvia. The aim of the MARTA Centre's youth programs is informal education (discussions; group work; self-reflection tasks, analysis of situations, attitudes, actions, etc.).
It helps to understand and encourages to talk about the prevailing traditional gender stereotypes of society and their influence on our mutual contact, decisions and behavior, its causes and consequences, developing skills on how to create healthy relationships that are based on equality, mutual support and respect.
