In 2013 two studies were conducted within the project “A Safety Compass — Signposting Ways to Escape Trafficking!” — by the EC Prevention of and fight against crime programme. These were:

1) A study on recruiting women for prostitution and designing the image of a woman on the internet. Study of the internet environment is carried out in March/April and September/October.

2) A study on the factors affecting women enrolment in prostitution. Field work will be carried out in June/July.

Simultaneously studies are conducted in Estonia and Great Britain.
The comparative analysis of the results and the final report will be available in December 2013.
